SINGAPORE -DBS Bank has expanded POSB Cash-Point to all Guardian Health & Beauty and Sheng Siong stores in Singapore.
With any item purchase at more than 140 Guardian Health & Beauty and over 30 Sheng Siong stores in Singapore, DBS/POSB customers are now able to withdraw up to $100, in multiples of $10.
The expansion package credits $5 to the first 500 customers who make cash withdrawals everyday at these stores. This rebate runs from now till the end of the year.
Previous successful expansion ventures include partnerships with 7-Eleven and SingPost. There were over 40,000 transactions conducted at SingPost outlets and an increase of close to 50 per cent withdrawals at 7-Eleven.
Mr Jeremy Soo, Managing Director and Head of Consumer Banking Group Singapore, DBS Bank said, "While we have seen increased usage of online banking and mobile payments, we also understand some of our customers do have cash needs and our physical banking touchpoints remain an important part of our network to fulfill these needs."
