Non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose 1.6 per cent last month from a year ago, reversing the 1.5 per cent dip in October, the latest trade figures released by International Enterprise Singapore showed yesterday.

Month on month, the NODX extended October's 1.1 per cent increase with a seasonally-adjusted 2.9 per cent jump to $14.2 billion, according to the trade promotion agency's figures.

The electronics NODX continued to go downhill last month, posting a sharper 10.2 per cent drop on-year. The NODX fell 3.6 per cent in October.

But the non-electronic NODX picked up from a 0.5 per cent dip in October to rise 7.5 per cent last month.

Non-oil re-exports rose 3.6 per cent last month, after a 5.4 per cent drop in October.

Except for Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, NODX shipments to the rest of Singapore's top 10 markets - the European Union, United States, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea - tumbled last month.
